How to request deletion of your Plenna account and data
Summary: Email us at contact@plenna.co.uk to request account deletion. All your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Send an email to contact@plenna.co.uk with the subject line "Plenna Account Deletion Request".
- Include the email address associated with your Plenna account so we can identify your account.
- We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours.
- Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmation.

What Happens to Shared Data
- Lists shared with others: If you are the owner of a shared list, the list and its items will be deleted for all members. If you are an editor, your membership is removed but the list remains for other members.
- Groups you created: Groups you created will be deleted. Members will lose access to group content.
- Groups you joined: Your membership is removed. The group and its content remain for other members.
- Calendar events: Events you created are deleted. Events created by others that you were invited to will retain your RSVP status removal.
Data Retention
After deletion is processed:
- All personal data is permanently removed from our servers.
- Backups containing your data may persist for up to 30 additional days before being overwritten.
- Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (if any) are not linked to your account and are not deleted.
Before You Delete
You may want to consider:
- Export your data — contact us to request a copy of your data before deletion.
- Transfer ownership — if you own shared lists or groups, consider transferring ownership to another member first.
- Sign out of all devices — for immediate access removal while we process the deletion.
